The partnership between the University of Liverpool and Laureate Online Education brings together a unique combination of resources and capabilities.

The University of Liverpool is responsible for the academic quality of our programmes and it awards the degrees. The online Masters programmes we offer originate in Liverpool's highly ranked Faculty of Medicine, School of Management, Department of Computer Science and Law School.

Laureate, as the University of Liverpool's exclusive worldwide e-learning partner, makes the University's programmes available online, providing the e-learning environment and personal student support.
Both partners are renowned for quality, innovation and continuous improvement in online teaching and learning.

The purpose of this handbook is to give you at least some of the information you will need to navigate your way through the online programmes. Some will be of immediate use, other parts will be useful for future reference. Please do look through this handbook, so that you know what it contains, and so that you will be able to find the information when you need it most. The Student Handbook is your guide to studying an Online Masters degree and provides definitive information on a number of important aspects of student life. These include but are not limited to: study requirements, implications of non-attendance or unsatisfactory academic progress, student finance, curriculum guidance, appeals and complaints procedures, grading guidance and service standards as well as details of key departments and staff.

The contents of the handbook are grouped under 4 main categories, accessible from the main navigation bar at the top of this page. The categories are:

1. Policies: Essential academic policies that all students should be aware of.
2. Administration: Administrative actions that you should utilize to manage your studies.
3. Your Studies: Useful guides to support you in your studies with us.
4. Links: Additional resources that you may find useful in your studies.

Department of Academic Affairs:
Academic Affairs is responsible for all aspects of instruction within the Online Masters programmes. Usually operating out of the Laureate offices in Amsterdam, the Department is headed by the Director of Academic Affairs.  Currently, the Acting Director of Academic Affairs is Craig Marsh (craig.marsh@ohecampus.com)

Department of Student Experience:
Student Experience is responsible for all aspects of Student Support including Student Support Management. Operating out of the Laureate offices in Amsterdam, the Department is headed by the Manager of Student Experience, Richard Beard (richard.beard@ohecampus.com)
