The Netherlands - The University of Liverpool's e-Learning partner
KIT today launched a new and innovative MSc in Internet Computing
programme. KIT is a unit of the Laureate Online Higher Education
division of Laureate Education, Inc.
"Computer professionals around the world are always on the hunt for the latest techniques and modern methods in Internet programming.
They now have to look no further - the skills they seek will be taught in our new MSc in Internet Computing programme - live and in real
time online," stated KIT eLearning Chairman Eli Zybert as he launched the programme over the web.
Students in the new programme are expected to be computer professionals who want to master advanced techniques
and practices by covering theoretical and practical elements of design, construction and implementation.
Modules include Web XML Applications, Electronic Commerce, Security Engineering,
Artificial Intelligence, and IT Project management. The programme includes a mandatory dissertation.
The programme will take on average 24 - 36 months to complete. However, since students progress at their own pace,
they may complete their studies within a maximum of four years. Each online module lasts eight weeks.
"Over the last several years, the University of Liverpool and KIT have led the way in online education programmes at
the graduate level," added Eli Zybert.
"The new MSc in Internet Computing is yet another example of us leading the way in the online e-Learning world."
